Licence, maintenance and operation
How do Solo and Starter differ?
Both run locally without server functionality. Solo is free for individuals and has limited functionality. Starter costs €29 once and provides full functionality for one workspace.
Is maintenance mandatory?
No. Paid licences include the first year of maintenance. From year two, maintenance is optional. We recommend it for updates with new features and the support included in your package. Without maintenance, you receive security updates only.
What does maintenance cost?
The first year of maintenance is included. From year two, annual maintenance is 50% of the one-time licence price: Starter €14.50, KMU €495 plus €24.50 per user, and Enterprise €5,000 for unlimited users. Implementation packages are not included in the maintenance basis.
What does maintenance include?
Starter includes email support, KMU includes email and WhatsApp support, and Enterprise adds phone support. KMU and Enterprise include an online meeting with your team every three months to discuss new features and opportunities for your business.
Are AI models and hosting included?
You run Kivanto on your computer or server infrastructure. AI models are configured separately. External AI providers and infrastructure may incur additional costs.
Do I need an implementation package?
You can set up Kivanto yourself or book a package for installation, data connections and onboarding. The software licence and implementation are separate services.
